Why do they have to fly the flag at downing street at half mast? She's not a royal person, or even Prime Minister - I know all about her past, but at the end of the day she's not PM anymore!? I think people would put banners out if it was Cameron that had popped his clogs. I would, anyway!

She was far far far far more than just an old and unwell lady & seeing that she was either loathed or loved by everyone there's no option but for this thread to get out of hand

She was such a patriot she sold off a lot of our industry and other jewels to foreign nations. How she found the time - what with putting mental people back on the streets, and helping to significantly increase the crime rate, and making many thousands homeless, and ensuring that averagely academic kids got 10 GCSEs, and making debt an acceptable lifestyle choice rather than a last resort decision, and....and....ad nauseum - I'll never know.
