I’ll have to watch this. I’ve heard of this man and people trying to claim it’s all true. I just don’t believe they’ll trash everything to rebuild a new economic and lifestyle structure and everything connected to it. But I do believe financing of governments and debt might change. You could say if they wanted a solution to a lot of the world’s problems they could just ‘let it rip’ rather than flow through countries. That would reduce population numbers, including in Africa, where I expect population control is more of an issue than anywhere else. There was the possibility that China could control Africa more than they are either via design, accident or pure nature reasons. To be fair I don’t think they are trying to make a claim but once you start noticing is very difficult to explain this away as a conspiracy theory. It’s just whether you agree with what they are doing or not. Obviously they mere fact that this seems to be a bait and switch doesn’t speak well of their intentions. I’m all for authoritarians by the way. Just not this with these stated ajms. Be interested to know your thoughts especially as this goes well beyond the world of politics in my opinion.

Ok but that’s just reforming into more environmentally friendly business practices. It isn’t a global reset of everything and it would take ages anyway. There’s also the issue of the biggest polluter on the planet and far more than anywhere else. China. Why will they comply and by not complying they’re still cheaper to buy goods from, unless everyone places embargoes on China. Now we’re stepping into dangerous geopolitics with the most dangerous country on Earth. China is discussed in the video as well as what these “business practices” really mean for various “stakeholders”. He does a great job I think. Have an open mind.

1. There is no reason to think that the vast majority of people will not gain immunity through antibodies from having this. That's just normal with any virus. Unless you are very old and/or very sick, you are very very very unlikely to die. 1. We don't really know how long immunity will last, other than now being about to assume that it's typically longer than six months. If it turns out to be years that would be fantastic. Not all viruses act the same in terms of immunity. If you get measles you likely have life long immunity. Immunity to some of the already existing coronaviruses though is short lived, so that is worth factoring in. The impact of re-infection is something that will likely become clearer over time. 2. There are certainly some early indications that suggest that if you've had a different coronavirus in the months prior that it 'might' lesson the impact of covid-19. That's about as far as we can go with that right now I'd say. In my view it would be a good idea as a trial to give a weaker coronavirus to people to see the impact it has when later exposed to covid-19. 3. You may well be right that many more people have had this than we know. I agree that an awful lot of people reported being ill in December and January so it gives pause for though! It seems likely that an awful lot of people still haven't had it though. It's likely worth keeping an eye on Brazil and the like, countries that had just got on with life, to see when it starts to burn itself out. 4. Generally that's true no doubt. Let's hope it is here too. 5. I believe estimates are that at its height first time around 100,000+ people were being infected daily. As such though the graphs look bad now, I don't think the situation is as bad as it was, and so it would follow that deaths would be lower. Also there is a substantial delay between infection and death of weeks, so it makes sense that death numbers will rise somewhat. You're likely right though that they won't reach prior high because it's already worked its way though so many high risk environments such as old folks homes. Also looking at other countries I'm not yet seeing a 'second wave' with more deaths than the first anywhere as of yet.

The Australian test is meant to be the Rolls Royce of tests and ours is a Reliant Robin with one back wheel missing.

So labour are calling for a 3 week "circuit breaker" which should be adequate to take us into the flu season proper and justify even more lockdowns and freedoms removed.

They don’t have to sort the fallout from such a knee jerk decision. I’ve had enough of politicians of all colours, they haven’t got a clue. I’m getting out this country for 4 months in November. If they close down the airports, to say I’ll be pi55ed off will be the understatement of the year. Oh and where I’m going, they deal with Covid sensibly, there are no BLM rallies or virtue signalling and the football is on for free in every bar which don’t close at 10.00.
