Todays first download is a set by The Eagles that was recorded in Inglewood, Calif on the 4th March 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of boots and albums by The Eagles over the years - you always know that they will put on a good show - due to the bands insistance that the music be played exactly as it was written originally. Some classics on this one - which I first posted on the 7th March 2010. If you missed this one then - grab it now, this is thoroughly recommended...... Todays second download is a set by The Who that was recorded at Madison Square Garden in New York City on the 18th July 1996. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a pre fm soundboard of the show which sounds fantastic - really top notch. The band play their album "Quadrophenia" - and it's wicked.... This is one of the best sounding Who bootlegs I've posted and it was originally posted on the 29th April 2008. If you missed this one then - grab it now - this rocks big time!.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Todays first download is a set by Prefab Sprout that was recorded at Cardiff University on the 7th November 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Bootlegs by this band in good quality are very, very rare - I only have one other myself, so when I saw this one I immediately grabbed it. If you like Prefab Sprout, I suggest you do as well... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Thunder that was produced and released to fans only - it's the bands annual Christmas show and a disc thats only given to fans. The quality of this show is exceptional - reallly top notch and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds wicked. According to my files, this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - and its a good one. If you like Thunder - grab this, it's thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a tribute to Alvin Lee who died last week. Alvin was a superb rock/blues guitarist and front man for Ten Years After. This is a show recorded in Los Angeles in 1970 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard. On this boot the band play a wicked set with the classics "Love Like A Man" "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and 2 versions of "I'm Going Home". If you like TYA - then grab this one.... Todays first download is a set by legendary rock band Free. This is a show that was recorded on the 14th October 1972 at the Bracknell Sports Centre, Bracknell, Herts. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is easily one of the best sounding bootlets featuring the original line up of the band - and when you think that this is over 40 years old as well - its even more remarkable. I originally posted this show on the 13th March 2009 - and if you like Free and you missed it then - I recommend you download it now - this is thoroughly recommended....
