Todays first download is a set by Rod Stewart that was recorded at the Newcastle City Hall in December 1976. This show is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show. I've not previously posted this show - but I have posted other shows from this tour - mainly the London show which took place 5 days after ths one. I don't think this is the whole show - but rather selected tracks that were broadcast. If you like Rod Stewart - this is a good one for the collection.... Todays second download is a set by Kevin Ayers that was recorded in Bremen, Germany on the 19th August 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds wicked. Kevin passed away last week and I posted a tribute album to him. This isn't another tribute album - but it is an excellent show with Kevin in great form. This rocks and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a recent acoustic set by a couple of members of Ocean Colour Scene (Simon & Steve) that was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios, London. The show was broadcast online by Absolute Radio and the sound quality is superb. Only a very short 4 tracks - but really great stuff. If you like OCS - grab this one..... Todays first download is a bootleg collection by The Rolling Stones that features tracks from shows during 1969-1982. The source for all tracks is the soundboard and this boot features some of the best live bootleg tracks ever recorded. This is a wicked bootleg - and it comes in two parts - the second part will be posted tomorrow. If you like the Rolling Stones - you will want this one, which I first posted on the 3rd April 2008. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This was also a request so I decided to repost it as one of the reposted downloads. I first posted this one on the 11th February 2008. If you like TSC and missed this one then - grab it now... this is great stuff - thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Rocket From The Crypt and this is a show that was recorded in Vancouver, Canada on the 13th April 2003. This is in superb quality and th audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I don't know anything about this band except they rock. So give them a try - well worth the download....
