Todays first download is a set by The Band that was recorded at the Palladium in New York on the 18th September 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of boots by The Band over the years and I first posted this one on the 25th September 2009. If you missed it then, grab it now - this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an Fm broadcast of the show. I've posted lots of boots and album by TSC over the years - but according to my files, I've not posted this before - so if you like TSC - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Mandrill that was recorded at My Fathers Place in Roslyn, New York in 1974 and was broadcast on WLIR-FM radio. This is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I don't really know anything about them except they play a sort of latin jazz rock. The band is mainly made up of the 3 Wilson brothers and they first appeared in the late 1960's. If you like a bit of latin style rock - very similar to early Santana then try this out - this is great stuff.... Todays first download is a set by Kevin Ayers who died yesterday. RIP Kevin. This set was recorded in Dreibergen, Holland on the 30th June 1970 and is in superb qualty with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is only a short set - but a real good one.. and the band is top notch with one or two well known names included. I first posted this on the 2nd September 2010 and if you missed it then - grab it now....
