I think Shunak will realise he will never be PM and quit politics. Whether he hangs on for next GE I have no idea.As his wife is voluntarily paying an extra year's UK tax he must have made a case that he still has a chance. His basic issue is trying to pretend he's something he's not ( not unique to him ), the stupid photo of him filling a car in a petrol station that belonged to an employee. Not politically savvy. If he had just said he is very rich and therefore means he can't be corrupted people would have been ok with that.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Political systems no longer work, there is no accountability. 1 rule for high level politicians these days and 1 rule for everyone else. If the CEO of a company broke covid rules and lied about it, he/she would be invited to resign. Boris can break the law and stay in power, as did Trump. Brave new world and all that.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Thanks Maple, even more embarrassing then, and big dog was more worried about a photo call rather than sorting out pritis home office army that were never sent to France! I heard the reason we couldn"t send any tanks is we only have 47, perhaps warriors or a specific tank but still, with that and Italy having a bigger navy than us- thank god we have prit(loves a secret Israeli deal), big dog(don"t know what a party looks like),lord snooty jacob( give brexit 50 years to show results) and nanny, liz( go home and learn the facts before you waste my time again!)foreign secretary, at the helm, it breeds confidence we are up for the fight with the red army! 224 Challenger 2 battle tanks. The Warrior is an infantry fighting vehicle not a tank.

He broke a covid rule, big deal. Trump ordered his supporters up Capital Hill ... Well the whole world saw what happened next. Everyone has broken a covid rule at sometime, attacking politicians is pure hypocrisy if you're not prepared to confess to the authorities and accept the fine,.

He lied to the country, when people couldn"t see their dying family members, he was having a party- no big deal? Tell that to the people who missed their family dying alone while it was really ok to party, or the people who got fined for mixing!

Everyone has broken a covid rule at sometime, attacking politicians is pure hypocrisy if you're not prepared to confess to the authorities and accept the fine,. Not quite. The politicians are the ones making and preaching the 'rules'. To not adhere to policy, break laws or rules you don't agree with etc. is one thing. To be designing and implementing those rules, then imposing them on others and preaching as to why, only to break them, is a completely different ball game. It's the oft quoted and highlighted scenario but perhaps rightly so: To be told you are not legally allowed to visit/appropriately bury/grieve a loved one only to see those who have enforced that awful scenario upon you holding garden parties, including all the way to the top, is a monstrous insult beyond my simple ability to articulate. Many people are angry some for reasons they don't even properly understand, others rightly so for a menagerie of very valid reasons.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

It was fine for these people to work together all day but not to have a drink together.

And it's nice to see the word menagerie making an appearance too!!

Seems to be a significant number of population want BJ gone over Covid fines. "Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak have rejected calls to resign, despite being fined by police for breaking lockdown rules in Downing Street in June 2020. The prime minister, the chancellor and the PM's wife all received fixed penalty notices for attending a birthday gathering for the PM in No 10. As a result, Mr Johnson became the UK's first serving prime minister to be sanctioned for breaking the law." Shameful behaviour. And we don't even have the photos yet, or the expenses claims for booze and food. BJ won't walk, he needs a good pushing. So where will it come from ?
I disengage, I turn the page. |
