I don't suppose for a moment that he would object to his medical check-ups also looking at his mental health.

If you think his mental health is fine, let’s revisit this post in 6-12 months shall we?

Pelosi is only kicking up a stink again. I'm sure she's only doing it for the benefit of the great unwashed. And everyone is listening to her knowing there is absolutely no agenda or bias.

Edited by Spiderman (09 Oct 2020 1.15pm) I referenced an oped that was published by them. It doesn't necessarily mean they agree with it, although they probably do. It was written by a Democrat but that doesn't mean it's "biased". It could just as easily have been written by a Republican. Just not by a Trump supporter. You don't have to be on one side or the other to write the truth as you see it and the truth came out of it very clearly. Yes, there was an upswelling of opposition to Obama from certain sections of US society towards the end of his time. It's not unusual. It happens here too, as events happen and promises fail to materialise. Restricting tenures to 8 years max is probably a wise idea. When I first heard the vitriol being hurled at Obama by my American friends I was pretty shocked. He was taking flak for many things either completely untrue or totally out of his control. It was not the first time I had encountered the power of viral conspiracy theories (the first were in the aftermath of 9/11) but the number who believed them was a very strange phenomenon.

I don't know, any more than you don't, but based on his previous openness I would expect him to agree. If, for no other reason, to show the stark contrast with Trump. As I believe him to only be a stop gap, who might be planning to serve less than one term, it could provide a quiet exit strategy if he was found to be diagnosed with anything that meant he needed to stand down.

Biden is clearly showing signs of dementia or some kind of degenerative cognitive impairment. At worse he doesn't seem to almost know where he is, has difficulty remembering common words (like "god", know what state/city he is in or just starts rambling strange non-relevant stories (cornpop, leg hairs, dog faced pony soldiers etc) or just totally contradicting himself. He's clearly only there as the either an unpopular candidate to be replaced at the last minute (Michelle Obama?) or will move aside for Harris if he gets elected. There is clearly some method to the madness because the people behind the democrat party are not stupid.

If trump wins which I think he will we will see how stupid they really are. Watch the riots and civil unrest; with 4 years at the helm trump will smash it to bits I'm sure. Getting juicy either way.

So basically he is standing as he is possibly the only electable Democrat, knowing full well he won’t complete even one term., and in your view that is fine. Sums you up really Edited by Spiderman (09 Oct 2020 4.59pm)

So it was written by a Democrat but is not necessarily biased against a Republican President, yeh ok what planet do you live on?
