British people don't tend to protest in large numbers about Kashmir whilst waving pakistani flags.

Hmm. Let's say for example that an Asian ex colony is given autonomy as a part of a larger Asian country. Self governing within a second government, kind of like one country two systems you know?

Then said bigger country decides unilaterally that it's had enough and wants to totally annex that locale. How does the British public react?
