Come on, this has been gone over loads of times. Corbyn is not extreme left, only perhaps if compared to May, who was always known as being the right of the party, mind you, it was also accepted by Tories pre election as being 'a safe pair of hands' !
This of course digresses from the subject at hand. Was Trump a wally for retweeting Britain First propaganda?

The right has been crabbing to its right for a decade at least. It's now so far away from center that even the centre looks like the left from where they are.

It's hard to disagree.

Hard to disagree with the opinion, about the President, of the editor of Breitbart London, which is a subsidiary of Breitbart News, whose Chairman was until recently Counselor to the President?

I think you mean hardly disinterested.

[Link] - Flynn likely to plead guilty to lying to the FBI. One wonders what he was lying about and what plea deal he may have signed with regard to the other bang to rights charges. No wonder Donnie Moscow has been in twitter distraction mode.

One of the key elements of proving obstruction of justice is demonstrating the mindset of the person when acting to obstruct justice. If that person was obstructing justice without intent, there's no crime, so proving intent is the key.

The fact that Trump told Comey to drop the Flynn investigation, told the world on live TV that he told Comey to drop the Russia investigation, told the chairman of the Senate committee investigating Russia (Richard Burr) to end the investigation and, when he didn't, told a bunch of other people to tell Burr to end the investigation, means that the intent element of the crime is pretty much indisputable at this point.

What didn't Flynn lie about? While part of the Trump campaign, he engaged in paid activities on behalf of Russia and Turkey. During the transition, he engaged in paid activities on behalf of Turkey and also contacted Russia to circumvent any response to the sanctions imposed for election meddling. It's also alleged that he conspired to kidnap and return to Turkey a strident critic of Erdogan's government who currently resides in Pennsylvania.

As for proof, after getting fired as NSA in record time, he retroactively filed as an agent of a foreign power (Turkey). That means that he has already confessed to breaking the Foreign Agents Registration Act which is there to the ensure transparency of activities by foreign government in the US. More importantly, his son is caught up in this, and that is believed to have been a major pressure point on getting Flynn Sr's cooperation.

Exactly. It is overwhelmingly likely that he's agreed a plea deal if he pleads guilty to far less than the available evidence suggests. This is a good deal for Flynn and indicative of providing significant incriminating information on someone higher up the food chain. I wonder who that might be...

I think a lot of people who think of Corbyn as extreme left wing, haven't had much experience of the far left or know much about the main far left parties in the UK.

Compared to say Ian Bone, Corbyn is a more left wing Tony Blair.

When talking about left wing politics on this stream, my own thoughts have been limited to individuals who have a realistic chance of being in government or are at least MPs who can sometimes influence policies.

I don't and wouldn't wish to know about every obscure group of lefties like the maniacs who shout "Hang the Tory scum" outside the Conservative Conference nowadays. Would they be Momentum or The People's Front for the Liberation of Hackney and Islington?

Let's just say that Corbyn is the most left wing leader of the Labour Party since Michael Foot and has managed to get far more popular support than Old Wurzel ever attracted.

"Michael Flynn will reportedly testify that President Trump instructed him to make contact with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign, ABC News reported on Friday. “[Flynn] is prepared to testify...against President Trump, against members of the Trump family, and others in the White House,” Brian Ross reported. He added that Flynn’s testimony, as such, would “contradict all that President Trump has said up to this moment.” Flynn, Trump’s former national-security adviser, pleaded guilty Friday to charges that he misled the FBI during a January 2017 interview.
