He didn't do a lap of honour. I think someone (Cherries fan who wasn't there) was worried he had done. Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for Howe. If he does come we will think he is a Mourinho the way we have been boosting him up. Truth is, I know f*** all about him, just that he has done an amazing job there! If we don't get him then I fancy a similar few days speculation about the Exeter boss. He is young, plays good football and worked wonders there too! How about it?! This site has single-handedly raised Howe's profile significantly! Mental!

Hello Eagles. Bournemouth have a huddle after every game. Eddie Howe comes over and claps a little tiny bit after every game. Today Bournemouth had a huddle after the game. Eddie Howe came over and clapped a little tiny bit. In other words, everything was exactly the same as it always is and there's nothing to be read into what happened after the game. That's not to say he's staying at Bournemouth or going to Palace (or Charlton, or Ipswich, or Burnley)....just that nothing today was any different than after any other match. Bournemouth Echo. Neil Perret (ace reporter). An idiot who is always looking for a story and there never is one, except the big ones which he misses as he won't rock the boat. Don't read anything to anything he comes out with. Usually uses the line 'sources close to the Echo suggest...' meaning 'I've lifted that off the Bournemouth messageboard. A couple of people on the Bournemouth forum always loudly claim to be itk. They aren't often right, same as most who claim to be itk. To sum up, we're all still guessing.

I'm sure there's a plan B and it will be executed by CPFC2010 in the very near future if EH turns us down - the excuse of focusing on the match has passed now and it will be decided if he comes one way or another pretty sharpish I'd say.

Marvelous This week's been brilliant fun with all the speculation. Not for you, of course I'd imagine. Great win today - hope you knock Brighton off their perch!

His post-match comments will be telling... Reading the 'real-time' results for Eddie Howe on Twitter, a lot of Bournemouth fans seem to think he's off.

They certainly don't seem confident. All it tells us for sure though, is that he is strongly considering it at the very least.

Some think he waved longer. Some (me included) don't. Looked the same for me. His interview is on the radio in a minute. I'll report what he says.

Read on Twitter that apparently he says "He's got to make the toughest decision of his life in the next couple of days", or something. So, not cut and dry...yet.

listening live to radio solent. Basically confirms he's had the offer but has hardest decision of his life to make. Today will live long in the memory for him whatever happens. "I'm very torn. They feel like more than a group of players to me, they feel like a family. They're a great group to work for and I'm proud to be their manager. I'm fully aware out of repect to everybody that I have to get a move on with the decision." Edited by iron_man (08 Jan 2011 5.40pm)
