Oh dear. The strategy, well sort of, unless it’s so late it’s/it was pointless. Attachment: 905670A6-932F-4235-A10F-66A8761F9706.jpeg (158.49Kb)

I will just throw in there that I bought my ST so we can put that to bed. All power to you for wasting your money on a ST for Palace (assumption). A football club that will survive this fiasco. Don't know where you live, but that money would have been better spent on a club that will probably go under. Sutton maybe? Dulwich? They have no income. Palace still have tv millions. I'm not religious by the way, I was just making a point at how ludicrous the new knee jerk laws are.

I will get it back or pay for when we restart so I wont lose sleep over the couple of quid interest i may lose if any. Also it stops me spunking it up the wall on a different scheme. Who can explain why we were put into lock down only days after the U.K. government classified covid as nothing more than flu?

If you’re wondering why the aggressive door to door testing... The memo seen by the BBC shows plans for additional money for local authorities placed into tiers two or three. Local authorities would get £1 per head of population if placed into tier two and £2 per head for tier three. When all areas are "mapped" onto the new system, it is not believed any areas will be moved to level three at this stage. The BBC understands some within Public Health England are concerned at the speed of the transition. But there is also an acknowledgement the new system could "simplify and rationalise the current set up".

There is no cure, the vaccine will work about as good as a flu vaccine which isn't that high a percentage of protection. Hiding away from it is killing our country more so than the virus, so all our efforts are merely delaying the inevitable. We can only hope that when we do get it, it is a mild version. Protect the vulnerable, everyone else get on with it. If you consider yourself vulnerable then lock yourself away and limit contact to essential journeys only. Let individuals make their own mind up as to what level of risk they want to take and educate people to take responsibility for who they do and do not meet if they consider themselves at risk of having picked it up.

So the responsibility of getting it is with someone else then. If they decide you are going to be less ill they can cough all over you. Seems a little unfair to me but hey it is a free society!

1. Boris is apparently urging people to go the cinema. 2. Apparently the test & trace recording and analysis is failing because it was setup on excel rather than on a database and the spreadsheets ran out of columns. Pfffffft ha ha ha. Dear me. Edited by Rudi Hedman (05 Oct 2020 12.41pm)
