I wouldn’t describe what I say about Trump as moans, but expressions of concern. As long as the American judiciary, media and electorate are convinced then expressing those concerns to Crystal Palace supporters is time well spent.

OK I recall that now. I didn’t take a lot of notice as there is a lot of heat around these issues now which can boil over. It was generally condemned as unacceptable. As I have always been uncomfortable with Zionism I have more sympathy than some with those impacted by it. Why the police, who had previously intervened to remove banners and stop chanting containing the same phrase, decided not to act on this is for them to explain. I can only hypothesise that they thought to do so would make matters worse, not better, and as maintaining public order is their over-riding priority decide not to for operational reasons.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

I am a member of several US political forums, the better to understand the thinking and gain reactions to mine. Having also participated in various religious forums in the past the certainty and blindness to alternatives that are encountered is striking.

Scotland Yard said officers did not act, " because it wasn't a criminal offence".

With no little success judging by how the polls are going for him.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

Why should I apprehend someone when the police are there? As for the government displaying an image; we have had this discussion before, and I stated that one was done with permission, the other wasn't. Obviously law-abiding is not something you subscribe to. You don't seem to understand that showing support for a nation that suffered a horrific attack ( as did many other governments ) entitles the illegal projecting an anti semitic pro hamas message onto an iconic building that represents elected democracy.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Following on from the Guardian’s apology and undisclosed sum in damages, Dan Wootton has now also won an apology plus substantial damages (five figures) from the Daily Mirror after sex offences were alleged. It's rumoured that the originator of the allegations, 'Byline News' might go out of business by the time Wotton's legal response is over...especially since they are currently busy taking on JK Rowling.
