If this 'conservative' government is building a war monument specifically for Muslim war dead then why aren't we getting a war monument specifically for Christian war dead....atheist war dead....Hindu war dead...Sikh war dead and whatever other religion. Completely bonkers and right out of the left's playbook. Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I suspect they have given up on old white folk like us. Just give us undeserved handouts like state pension and we will loyally vote for them but otherwise shut up. Meanwhile, they can concentrate on those young folk raised in multiculturalism who will buy from them, work for them and vote for them for many years after we have gone. It is both Realpolitik and Realeconomik. (I made the second word up). I fear we are considered in the same light by the yoof as we did the generation before us who would neither house nor employ people of colour. How did I come to be them?

I'll change the 'hate' word to 'dislike' as it is nearer the truth. Aside from feeling differently to that last paragraph I'd agree with a lot of your analysis here. People like Hunt and Sunak are Blairites wearing the Tory label. They are part of the WEF vision for Europe and are about as far from the Tory base as Starmer is from his. Where did people of colour live and work? The generation before me were born in the 20's and 30's When I was growing up people of colour were doing a good job of pretending to have jobs and living in houses. Edited by HKOwen (07 Mar 2024 12.22pm)
