My Trip To Poland I'm back so I thought I would share the experience: - Poland has similar mask rules to the UK e.g. inside shops, bars public transport etc. I was in 3 cities and saw a far higher level of compliance than London. - I believe they have a lower infection rate than the UK. - Travelling to and from Poland meant wearing a mask for about 12 hours with a few minutes off for eating. - On the other days I was wearing a mask for around 8 hours as we travelled a lot and were visiting churches and museums etc. I am glad not to be wearing one today. - I stayed in 3 hotels there approach was to remove as much from your room as practical e.g. no minibar or kettle. As we only stayed 2/3 nights they did not clean our rooms which was fine by me. - The Passenger Locator online form was a pain simply because you could not complete it until 48 hours before your plane landed in the UK. It's easy enough my problem was find the time to do this and the Wi-Fi. I don't see why we couldn't have done this before travelling. On arrival at Heathrow no one bothered to check if I had done it, maybe when I scanned my passport it linked to the form so that's how they knew? Poland itself was great and so were the people the only bad time I had was running into Manchester's finest in Krakow. There is a beautiful main square full of tourists (families) and cafes we sat down and then the next bar along they started with Wonderwall and were screeching and swearing at each other full volume, so we left. 3 days later we walked passed the same spot they were still there wearing the same tops and were off their heads at 10am in the morning. Sometimes I am ashamed to be British. It is not a requirement but I will now isolate for 7 days I'm feeing fine but you never know.

Good to hear you’re well and having a good time. Don’t know how you can go somewhere to have to wear a mask all day. It’s no surprise where the cases are higher than elsewhere are. Hygiene and intelligence or ignorance levels. Dirty Northern b******s.

For balance this video from someone called RockboltG who you’d believe is a government Twitter stooge. But he fails to mention false positives this time round which wouldn’t have happened last time seeing as they’re from up to 6 month dead Covid fragments in false positive tests. He also doesn’t talk about cultural differences between us and France and Spain, especially the elderly, many of whom can instantly decide to isolate or be selective on who they interact with indoors.

'Britain would probably have gone a similar route to Sweden had not the media tried to undermine Government. Never in my life of 60+ years have I noted a media so destructive, so power hungry, and so determined to bring a government down. @BBC in particular has been bloody awful.' (Mike Yardley)

That Whitty conference and its errors would be laughable if it wasn’t so serious. Cases (including 8 in 9 being false btw, yes, it’s true and Hancock won’t answer the issue) doubles for 2 weeks and have since just fallen. ‘WILL look something like 50,000 cases per day’

(Mike Yardley) I agree with you in every respect.
