I'm going to go against the grain and do a multiple of odds-on bets in the Worthington Cup. Middlesbrough to beat Brentford, West Ham to beat Chesterfield, Aston Villa to beat Luton, Southampton to beat Tranmere and Palace to beat Cheltenham. Combined odds of close to 6-1. Never again. Stick to the long shots. I nearly went for the 9/2 available for Wimbledon, but didn't O.K., so it wasn't that bad after all 4 wins and 1 draw out of 5. Unfortunately because of the short odds I didn't do a covering combination - just a straight fivefold, so nothing for me there. I did do one other bet, Palace HT/FT and Southampton HT/FT. A nice double that earnt me £40, so profit for the week above the £200 mark... which was nice.
