Let’s just clarify that you don’t think they are far right or EDL now? What has that got to do with my previous comment? I have only watched the videos and read the reports. I haven't interviewed any suspects. Chanting Yaxley-Lennon's pseudonym and anti-Islam rhetoric seems to pidgeon-hole their politics pretty well. Throwing bricks at police and torching cars and police stations seems to confirm they are thugs. Even the far-right would surely want to distance themselves from idiots like this. You choose your own epithet.

Also on a forum you are allowed to reference others posts, it’s not an exam.

Good that the article references the Batley school teacher who seems forgotten
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I read another article about how people feel gaslighted by the government before the riots even started. They've got it right but the question is why can't any of the wider media see it?

Good that the article references the Batley school teacher who seems forgotten funny enough. I had forgotten about him. Linked below. A bit like we all seem to have a collective amnesia for Islamic atrocities. I bet you cannot name the Irish old geezer, taught a class in Paris. Got butchered by one of his students. There are crime-victims the Elites want us to remember ( Stephen Lawrence, Jo Cox ) and there are other victims they want us to forget about fairly quickly, after the dust has settled. I bet you never heard of Yosuke Sasaki ?

I am not Starmer nor responsible for what he says. He is the PM and is reacting to what has happened based on better information sources than we have. If I had to label the rioters then “a combination of far-right thugs and opportunistic hooligans” would do. You can reference whatever you like. Just as I can question what the linkage is.

Perhaps because they don’t agree with your analysis and don’t think “they got it right”? That some react like this doesn’t mean everyone does. In fact I don’t think many do. I certainly don’t.

Spiked is about as objective a source as GBNews. Whilst it rightly condemns the riots and the misinformation that sparked them it goes on to excuse them by suggesting there is a widespread rejection of multi-culturalism. That’s not true. There is a minority who are aggressively opposed. Most just accept and get on with life. There are then others, like me, who are concerned we don’t do enough to ensure newcomers accept and respect our culture and traditions. We need to be very firm that those who choose to live here respect us before they can expect respect from us. Most do, but allowing religious schools to exist is a big mistake.

Good to see some things never change.
