A bag carrier? He's an MP and Privy Councillor and former Parliamentary Private Secretary. Those are some pretty heavy bags he's lugging around.

Since Parliament has been dissolved there are no MPs! Every seat is vacant!

He was an MP and is probably still officially a PC but without any actual duties. He is the PPS to the PM. So will be carrying his bags around for him! He lost his seat to Labour when there wasn’t a big swing predicted. What chance this time?

Indeed, but think of the police time being wasted investigating 11 potential frauds when a simple ID check at the front end would solve the problem. And as I said, it’s bizarre that you and I have to prove who we are so that we can vote for somebody who may not be who they are!

I don’t expect they are too impressed either and will ask for the regulations to be amended.

By that reasoning the Duke of Westminster is a chauffeur because he sometimes gives people a lift.

Polling released tonight show Reform overtaking the Tories.

Who are STILL getting 18%. 18% to many. ZERO SEATS. Only acceptable result.

Which poll is that?

This is the latest “poll of polls” I can find and whilst Reform have had the expected a Farage bounce they remain well behind the Tories with Labour out of sight.

Don’t think that analogy really works.

If you think someone at his level is a bag carrier then that's no surprise.

The BBC. Say no more.

Polls are largely meaningless anyway.

Shock news. People lie.

Is a PPS anything more than a bag carrier? They don’t have a portfolio or sit in cabinet or chair committees. They sit in the House and report to their Minister on the mood there, and then travel with them to smooth the arrangements, answer calls and keep the visits on schedule. And carry the bags!

It’s a poll of polls! An average of other polls.

Nothing to do with the BBC!

The most senior civil servant at no. 10 in a pay grade which starts at £127,000. But sure, he's just a schlepper.
