There are quite a few out of work. McClaren, Di Matteo, Ranieri, Pearson, Pearce, Moyes, Mancini, Hodgson, Hiddink, Clarke, Adkins, McLeish, Hoddle, Van Gaal, Zola, Silva etc etc. That list makes very depressing reading

I recall eyebrows being raised when Leicester appointed Ranieri who had just been sacked by Greece. Many thought it was the work of NP that layed the foundation. I'm suprised that so many are quick to dismiss ranieri. Whilst it could be a risk. The other candidates are uninspiring or out of reach. Is Mancini really gonna come to Palace.

That list makes very depressing reading As do my posts !!! Had a conversation about this last night with a local chap and he basically echoed your sentiments when I reeled off a list off the top of my head.

Personally Dyche to Palace is not that exciting. His not a bad manager but i'm looking for us to go for a top ten finish next season not a relegation scrap under Dyche. Just my opinion. I share your opinion. It would be more of the same old with questions being asked at Christmas with respect to whether we need rescuing again. We're assembling a team of talented players and some seem to want to put Colonel Blimp in charge.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is it Foolish to dismiss Ranieri? ' by Guntrisoft Clearly the Leicester owners didn't think so last season. Still a lot of unsaid things why many of the players there didn't perform for him. Maybe he tried to change the system, why I don't know but he is known as the Tinkerman after all. If so could well be a Pards in waiting.
