BTW. Did I see another flip flop on taxation?

Apparently not, if it is a change though is that not May having her own manifesto.

I would like a party, any party, to come up with far simpler method of taxation. The current way it is done is laughable

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Also don't forget comrade, that a lot of Greece problems are their own doing, not paying tax, early retirement on nearly full final salary.
Spain was the same, guys of 50 sitting around in bars and cafes all day happily retired.....some one hasays to pay "in the real world".

Read what I wrote.
Although by no means not responsible for their predicament.

Still doesn't detract from the financial austerity driven atrocity the world Bank and their mates forced on them does it?

I am expecting the tories to lie about pensions and increased taxes and then when re-elected to introduce them quite quickly.

It wasn't blatant bias. Another point missed.

You will find that most Labour MPs have been fighting to retain DB style benefits for most workers public and private. Not as massive as their own, but they were not actively reducing other Civil Servants' benefits whilst benefiting from the most generous scheme in the country like the Tories.

It you want to be taken seriously then don't finish the post with party political tripe.

If only the Greeks had ditched the European Central Bank 2 years ago and restarted the drachma they would be back on their own feet by now.

If you or I go bankrupt we can be up and running within a year what the Greeks have is a life sentence.

Whatever demands are made on them if they fulfil them it will make zero difference.

You suggest that I support the Labour Party? LOL

The point I am making is obviously way above your understanding or blinkered world view.

Do people often say "Whoooosh" to your face?

The Chancellor versus PM is the key relationship in power.

'The government is on office, the treasury in power'
Harold Wilson.

Is it different now the chancellor must stand up for himself.

No, that would be considered weird where I come from.

When you have finished disappearing up your own arsehole, I am available to listen to your issues.

I think will leave that for someone who actually has the capacity to debate back.

Well done for doing a 'hoof' and scuttling off before countering my world Bank point. (can you change your username to helgrande? There's a space in the H gang)
