There are a lot of people on here putting a lot of trust into crap they've read in some very sub standard tabloids and websites none of which contain any direct quotes from either of the three parties! If Palace are looking to spend £30m on anyone and then pay them over £6m a year I can understand why it would take a while to be completed! If West Ham won't stump up £250,000 a week for Tevez I can't imagine them paying in excess of £48m over the term of the contract for Benteke!

Agree on this front - in reality, we have no idea what stage the deal is at, and what the sticking points are in the negotiations.

Believe West Ham are back in for him now, according to bets theres more of a chance of United sealing the Pogba deal than there is of us signing Benteke (West Ham in from 10/1 to 2/1). Someone knows something....
