A ridiculous statement. Our entire modern society evolved and revolves around enterprise. Social reform needs money and you need a system in place to make it happen. I trod on that by accident but its actually true there hasn't been anything ever perhaps the Dangerous Dogs Act? You deflect as we all know but where is the Middle East in this or the bomb or gay catholics or mass immigration. We are used to a better standard of nonsense from you.

Ha ha Disraeli in 1867 I did not expect that rather thinking of post-war. (WW2). I see slavery has returned under the tories and health problems like rickets malnutrition TB etc. re-surfaced but as long as the FTSE is high we will continue to give them enough QE to get richer. Yes, practically all amongst the immigrant communities of course. It is quite incredible that you blame the Tories for modern slavery, TB etc. But of course, one should never underestimate the fatuousness of the new liberal left. Post WW2 - Gay Marriage?
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

I wish I could say the same about you. You always talk bollocks. So getting back to it. Are you really suggesting that the Labour Party are responsible for our society?

Well the record demonstrates that social advances are made by labour not the tories. For most of us the NHS and welfare state are fundamental to our lives no matter what we say and labour delivered them.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

But you don't get a welfare state without the environment that allows for it. And you don't get that in Britain without all the factors I previously described.

Oohhh you are awful...... I think the link between Henry VIII and Cromwell to the Welfare state is rather tenuous to say the least. Now Hitler that is different Adolf was very tetchy about Churchill founding the labour exchanges. So there is something the tories did but maybe he was liberal at the time.
