Todays second download is a bootleg by Ed Sheeran that was recorded at two show in Germany in September last year. Disc one of this boot was recorded at the Junges Theater, Goettingen, Germany on the 15th Sept and the second disc at the SWR3 New Pop Festival. Baden-Baden on 14th Sept. Both are in superb quality - the audio being taken from radio shows of the gigs. This was a request from my neighbours granddaughter - but I thought I'd use it as one of the daily downloads. If you like Ed Sheeran - this is thoroughly recommended... I've decided to repost some of the classic bootlegs I've posted since the mp3 thread started the daily downloads - on the 18th May 2007. This is the first bootleg album that I posted - a show by Genesis that was recorded at The Rainbow, Londo on the 20th October 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. A wicked set which features Peter Gabriel on Vocals, Steve Hackett on Guitars, Phil Collins on Drums with Tony Banks on Keyboards and Mike Rutherford on Bass.. This is where the mp3 thread started - so if you missed it first time round..... Todays second download is a set by Manfred Mann's Earthband that was recorded at Rockpalast, Koln, Germany in April 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and is wicked!. This is a great bootleg and has a wicked setlist which includes classics like "Father Of Day, Father Of Night" "Blinded By The Light" and "The Mighty Quinn". This show has been posted previously - about 5 years ago and we've had a lot of new members since then. If you missed it first time round - here's a top show by Manfred Mann's Earthband..... Todays first download is a bootleg by Al Stewart that was recorded in Chicago in November 1979 and is in superb quality. This show was going to be a live album but was never released. This is a great set and is in pin drop perfect sound quality. Al sings songs from his album "Past, Present and Future" and the classic "Year Of The Cat". This bootleg is also known as "The Blue Album". I first posted this in 2009, so if you missed it then.... grab it now.. thoroughly recommended... A cracking set with the classics "Silent Running" and "All I Need Is A Miracle" with Paul Carrack on vocals and Mike Rutherford on Guitars. Todays extra download is a recent acoustic set by the Stereophonics that was recorded at the Abbey Road studios in London and was broadcast as a webcast online on Absolute Radio. This is in superb quality and sounds really top notch. This is an acoustic show by the band - and it's wicked, but rather short. If you like Stereophonics - this is thoroughly recommended.... The artwork with the album is wicked (see below) and the setlist is fantastic. Todays second download is a set by Be Bop Deluxe that was recorded at the New Theatre, Oxford in February 1978. This is in superb quality - quite easily the best BBD boot there is. Some really great guitar work by Bill Nelson on this one. Be Bop Deluxe were a great band who never got the recognition they deserved. Todays extra download is a set by Fiona that was recorded in Halendale, FLA in May 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show. This is the first album or bootleg that I've posted by Fiona and I know absolutely nothing about her. She was one of many female vocalists who seemed to be around in the 80's and she performs melodic rock - easy going stuff.. it's not bad at all - worth the download....
