A civil jury in New York would convict Trump of witchcraft given the chance

Post code lottery "justice" system

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

LOL at CNN. Seek it out. Their 'Town-Hall' with Trump. All I can say is that with 'enemies' like CNN, then the Donald is one of the luckiest men alive.

They literally handed him the kind of publicity he can only have ever dreamed of.

I've not forgotten the discussion.

Ashley Biden has not pressed charges however her diary exists.
Arguably similar evidence exist for both situations yet you scoff at evidence for one whilst championing the other.

Fess up to your hypocrisy for once.

There's no hypocrisy on my part involved. Trump has been found guilty in a civil case after the evidence was presented and reviewed by a jury. That's very different from one piece of evidence in another situation, untested and looked at without its context being considered. I have no more idea than anyone else whether what was written is true. No jury would convict on that alone.

You seem the type who would convict someone just because their opinions don't match your own prejudices, rather than weigh the actual evidence.

Is that publicity actually helpful though, or does it expose his faults rather than build his credentials?

The chasm between the two tribes in the USA is certainly being deepened. You have only to read this thread to understand how and why.

However, even if Trump manages to secure the nomination he will face an uphill battle to regain the White House.

in 2016 his appeal went much wider than just his loyal base and those who sympathise with them. It dissipated in 2020 and whilst memories can fade his continuing tirades, especially against women, mean he is now seen much more clearly than ever he was to begin with.

Who wins in 2024 depends, in my view, much more on who the Democrats choose, if Trump is the Republican candidate. He could win a second bout against Biden, but not against someone else. Which is why I don't expect it to be Biden. DeSantis would be a much stronger choice for the GOP.

I feel like taking a civil case in the US. Who will I say felt me up? Has to be somewhat believable. Can't use Freeman, Cosby, Jackson or Trump - I must be missing someone obvious.

Good one - I didn't enjoy it. I felt used. You're my witness. I'm going to use Lewis Dunk's lawyers.

From my recollection you did quite enjoy it however I’ll omit that from my testimony. We can put some money towards a new RB for palace and split whatever remains.

It's likely ultimately in their interests for him to run. 4D Chess!
