‘National scandal’ as shock report reveals Rwanda plan costs to top £500m. On the basis of 300 people, that's 1.92 million for each re-location. The sooner they are gone, the better.

If most of those on work visas are in the health and care sector then that seems unlikely. Doctors, nurses and other clinicians are certainly skilled. Do you regard carers as unskilled? Lower skilled perhaps but still essential. There are minimum salary requirements applied to these positions before a visa is granted. As I said in an earlier post I don't have the facts and neither do you . I have already posted about carers we certainly need them doing the job they applied for and not moonlighting in other occupations.

Is it distortion to say that in two years Britain has had to absorb the equivalent of the population of both Birmingham and Liverpool?

Obviously though - who will go? We know the answer. It's probably started but will accelerate. Well we are so awfully racist to the extent that Police get sent to doors so why would anyone want to stay. I mean we have just seen that Baddiel and Warsi appearing on pearl clutching 'Good Morning' to complain about people not liking them for 'isms' or 'phobias'....god knows why. Baddiel was funny until he went full time whiny.....Yes we know you're Jewish David. Funny how white people don't get to complain about anything isn't it. Every other group gets to go onto TV and whine about us or how terrible their lives are because of 'insert whine'.....but anyone going up there and saying, 'I'm white' or I'm native British or Irish and I'm going to complain that my group is 'insert whine'.....Well, we'd get the sack wouldn't we. I hate our traitors.....which is essentially most (with obvious exceptions) of our middle class and above. A bigger bunch of generational tosspots you couldn't find. Kick out the third world, as you become the third world. That or send them to Cornwall. Edited by Stirlingsays (01 Mar 2024 2.31pm)

Considering how much money we waste on foreign aid schemes that seem to put money into foreign dictators pockets I would say it about par for the course. I don't understand how the French can deport a preacher within 2 days and not break the Uman Rights laws.

And as I said in an earlier post it seems unlikely that any genuine care workers would be, given the way their visas are obtained and the salary levels needed. If anyone is abusing the system and bringing people here to do other jobs then that is the responsibility of the Home Office.
