Sadly,several sides below us are beginning to win games and show some form,notably Leicester and Forest.Anyone in the bottom half of the table is under threat and seeing as we cannot buy a win,our consistency in playing out draws may yet save us. Edited by Jacey (19 Feb 2023 10.16am)

Nottm Forest have made the City Ground a fortress and a continuation of their Home form could see them escape the dreaded drop. Everton with Dyche at the helm could well scrap their way to safety but they have issues in the Striker department. As I have already asserted, an average of a point a game will see us preserve our PL status. Only Liverpool, Arsenal and Man C to play in the next month ! Edited by Willo (19 Feb 2023 10.43am)

Wasn’t it 49 points?

It was 45 when we finished 4th off bottom, but yes I forgot, we did actually go down with 49 points, that was the season we blew it in the last 3 games when we were as good as safe
