Yep, especially when people embrace the idealised outcome of Brexit, in which everything is all sunshine rainbows and no consequences, and will deliver magic pie to all, and no consequences what so ever at all. Especially once that human rights act is out of the way. I can't see Islamist terrorism ever destroying our human rights for starters, but sure, it'll be just fine to hand those over to a series of governments that have fallen foul of them since 1998 That couldn't possibly have any consequences... Islamic terrorists are a threat to UK lives, and should be considered a major threat in that regard. They won't however change our way of life. Well, immigration generally has changed our way of life already. Minority issues and immigration related issues are all we seem to concern ourselves with and our whole sense of humour and sense of identity has been altered. Remember when Muslims were just people you saw in movies?

Why are you so afraid of us making our own laws, framing our own human rights legislation instead of relying on the involvement of such historical beacons of democracy and human rights as Germany, Spain, Romania etc.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

Which is then voted by the European Parliament. As are British laws in our parliament. Only we don't have 27 other countries outvoting us in our own parliament.
