Strange option...choose economic ruin and all the usual extreme left-wing consequences just to spite Aunt Theresa's lot.

Come on, this has been gone over loads of times. Corbyn is not extreme left, only perhaps if compared to May, who was always known as being the right of the party, mind you, it was also accepted by Tories pre election as being 'a safe pair of hands' !
This of course digresses from the subject at hand. Was Trump a wally for retweeting Britain First propaganda?

Who would you regard as 'extreme left'?

Let's just say, Nick, that I would regard the combination of Corbyn/McDonnell/Abbott/Thornberry as, if not extreme. very left-wing. But I accept that any strong Labour force would seem extreme after the Blair years.

That's what a lot of this is all about really. Anger that groups you could once denigrate or brush off with ease now have a voice too. It's new and to some it's unsettling. We aren't Russia though and I'm glad we're not. In the context of the point you're making that means you're not simply right because you're white. You are judged by -shock horror- your views and behaviour.

If people are unhappy with the current system I would be perfectly happy with proportional representation. That would mean that every vote counts and would allow people to push their particular view of the world. For better or for worse it would at least be an accurate representation of the nation as a whole and as I said before, people get the government they deserve so go for it.

No. It's knowing that the views of the majority will be ignored in favour of the minority in order to keep politicians in power. This is how more extreme groups rise in popularity.

Ah well....lets have a hard think about that one....must be hard to come up with an answer for that one isn't it. How about I have an interest in antifa and they have been on my news sources for about a year.....Difficult eh. I have an interest in free speech and that's pretty much the reason.

I have little interest in far right groups because.....what the feck are they doing? Not much....Just people like your progressive friends obsessing over them. Slagging them off every moment and like you making sneering 'dog whistle' comments about other posters in general tones to have deniability.

Britain First, I'm aware of them....that's about it....I've slagged off far right groups on here...When they start killing people on anything like the same scale I'll be hating them just as much...Until then I'll regard them as the wrong way to go about the problem. In the meantime I get to listen to you write absolute drivel about what I or others think.

I'm very anti Islamism and argue for action for change on it. I have no problem with the public being informed much more clearly about the problem they have....not lied to and fed BS warm words.

You are exercising your free speech and that's fine and I'm feeding back to you that you can shove your half arsed arrogant sneering opinions. They have little merit.

MOD warning - Personal abuse - I don't think this is sufficient for a yellow, given the context though - but please avoid directly commenting like this.

Susan Watkins
Ken Loach (Left Unity party)

I think a lot of people who think of Corbyn as extreme left wing, haven't had much experience of the far left or know much about the main far left parties in the UK.

Compared to say Ian Bone, Corbyn is a more left wing Tony Blair.

It's hard to disagree.
