Disrespect and in fighting in this thread is not the way. Let's hope the lads go out and give the performance that staffie deserves.

Cant believe I've only just seen this. RIP staffie! A true legend. I remember first speaking with him on MSN back in the day and he would send all sorts of incredible and rare music to me! He then started doing the same on here. Couldn't thank him enough. I'm sure every one of the posts on this thread echoes each other.

You know something, I've looked at this forum for years, never joined because I keep my thoughts to myself... Until today when I saw this thread. So sad, genuinely sad.. Funny thing the internet, you see someone enough posting you feel like you actually know them. RIP Staffie in a red and blue heaven And condolences for all that knew you for real. Cracking round of applause at the game today. It seemed like all of the right side of the Holmesdale and almost the whole of the Arfur. I guess there are a hell of a lot of HOLers out there when you add in the silent majority. A genuine outpouring of affection plus a sad song.

The applause today was great and the message leading up to it was perfect too.

Thanks to Mike Rankine who did a fantastic job in giving a moving tribute. Lovely round of applause from the majority of Palace fans. I was quite moved. I have a video I will try and post later. Shame the PA was so quiet for the song. Despite this if staffie was watching he would have been very moved. I also saw a board in block B or C of the lower Holmesdale which simply read "RIP staffie" in red and blue. Thanks also to Jonny match day programme editor for the tribut on page 34. He took a long tribute and managed to distill it nicely to around 120 words at very short notice.
