Anybody who says anything negative about us signing one of the best players from the previous 15 years clearly knows nowt about football. Who cares that he is 37. He showed last night that his touch and football brain are still better than most. He will inspire our players to play better football. Just read how Dannsy was wetting himself when he heard the news. There's no way he did that when we signed Shaun Derry! I still have butterflies in my stomach when i read about Edgar Davids the Palace player. Seeing him in a Palace shirt last night was like playing Championship Manager in a pair of very wet underpants. Ooooooo Edgar you saucy little minx!

I remember last year when the talk about Davids was happening. I still cant believe we managed to sign such a footballing legend even though it didn't work out! How about another exciting signing this season CPFC2010? Or is ex Brighton striker Glenn Murray as exciting as it will get?

I still have my Palace shirt from last season that I got for Christmas with Davids - 20 on the back. He left a few weeks after. Collectors item
