I have perfectly good memory of the events, as I was involved. You don't. You are just spinning some long-forgotten comments to satisfy this strange desire you have to continuously post vitriol, rather than stay on subject. It's seriously weird. As you seem so interested here is the truth.

The tenant who is an ex-prisoner has changed his own life. I saw him yesterday, and have exchanged texts today. If ever there was an example of how the prison system can help reform people, he is it. He is a lovely chap. His appearance is fearful, but he has a heart of gold. I played a tiny role in accepting him when others didn't. He now works and is just moving from one of my units to a bigger one. You can take the p*ss as much as you like, but I am satisfied with what I have done.

I haven't had thousands of employees! I have had a few dozen and always tried to be a responsible and compassionate employer, primarily because my experience taught me that people generally perform better as a consequence. Of course, some took advantage and then I could be very straightforward. I once instantly dismissed a nurse I caught sleeping on duty. The trouble was she originated from Zimbabwe and started a tribunal action, claiming racial discrimination, which she later dropped, assumedly on advice.

I don't think I would have claimed I closed a section of a Catholic Newspaper on my own! It did close its comments section when the moderation requirements became too much for it to cope with. It was populated by several extremely conservative thinkers who routinely posted hard-line intransigence that brooked no argument. I, along with a couple of others, pointed out their weaknesses, much as I do here. So they just closed it. I must have contributed to that.

What any of that has to do with Trump is beyond me though!

Wisbech. I think the reason why you antagonize people is that you seem to take your self rather too seriously.
Of course, you will be unaware of this or in denial because that goes with the territory.

It also doesn't help when you label other opinions as extremist or some other handy derogatory designation, and then indulge in self righteous indignation when your holier than thou position is questioned.

You just aren't important. I know it's a shock.

Hitler used to take himself rather too seriously.

If you actually knew me you would know that isn’t true! I am quite light-hearted although also passionate and tenacious. The reason I come over that way on here is because of the population who inhabit this place. They get antagonised (we are in the UK) by anyone who fails to fall in line with their rhetoric.

The reason opinions are derided is because to most of us in the real world they are derisory. I have no problem at all with my positions being questioned. Indeed I welcome it, as the more opportunities I have to discuss these things with those with opposing views the better my own are developed. What I object to are not opinions about politics but the regular insults used to try to divert discussions from them.

I think not.

I think we were the ones who failed to take him too seriously.

Something we need to ensure we remember.

Hitler considered himself quite light-hearted, passionate and tenacious.

He was also a member of a Bayern Munich fan forum under the name of Braunau Eagle.

Really? Evidence, please. He is a long time dead but I am sure you can find some quotes to support this assertion. I thought he considered himself omnipotent.

65 miles was a long way to travel back then. I suspect he would have been more likely to support FC Braunau. I thought Bayern are known as "The Reds" and not the Eagles anyway.

Maybe I misunderstood and you were trying to be funny? Easy mistake to make.

I knew you would know.

The answer lies in your own hands. Either start posting some common sense that I can agree with or stop posting critical comments about my own opinions. Continue as you are and so will I.
