There is no doubt that enormous energy has been expended on anti Trump sentiment rather than improving everyday Americans. They have past the point of no return some time ago so now have very little positive to say! This has the potential to be a landslide victory unless the infamous mail in ballots come to the rescue! On the Super Tuesday ballot there are 2 questions you have to answer 1/. Do you have to be a US citizen to vote? Go figure how f…..d up things are today!

Exactly that. I loath Trump. However, I hate the Democrats' anti-democratic acts being run through the courts even more. Of course he cannot be excluded to run as an insurrectionist as he has not been convicted of being one! Ridiculous and a waste of scarce public resources given the use of the court system. How that non-issue reached the Supreme Court can only be explained by misplaced funding; certainly not legal merit. I feel for those small businesses and persons of lesser means who have a genuine matter to take to the court but are unable to access it through prohibitive cost. They must look at all this court time being wasted by this OBVIOUSLY self-defeating ploy to undermine Trump. If I were them, I would vote Trump for no other reason.

A valid point which is why the public officials in Colorado involved in this should resign. They must have known that this was purely a party political stunt with no basis in law. They are claiming that Trump has abused his position which is exactly what they are doing. A unanimous verdict from a court that normally splits on party lines tells you just how bad their action was. Wasting public money with a partisan action that puts them on a par with the elections in Iran and Russia.

He always was a nutter. Yep, there are unfortunately quite a few of them....and also unfortunately organisations like the ADL and SPLC are richly funded and run by people who agree with him. Nevertheless maybe Moorer should be watching videos like this when he formulates his opinions. [Tweet Link]

Is that going to be a legally binding vote? That anyone can just turn up and vote, basically? If it is voted in that is.

Pretty much sums up a lot of the 'left' for me. Severely unhappy, angry but completely powerless? Jump on a bandwagon with others in the same boat to feel as though you have something, anything of substance to justify your existence and blame the rest of the world for your suffering.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I don't really see it like that. Depression or other mental conditions...while more common on the left....aren't that uncommon amongst any political mindset. The emergence of his politics finds its roots in forms of communism mixed in with post WW2 boomer myths on European guilt. It's defacto canon amongst Antifa and the far left in general....and Antifa are the unofficial foot soldiers of the Democrat party. If Trump wins you will see them out burning stuff down again sure as the sun rises. Forms of this weird self hating crap have been taught in our universities for decades. People who believe the same or neo versions of what Moorer says are in our institutions and even civil service today. So I don't see it as fat ill old white guy raging away at all. I see what he says as an influential and operating power base in the west especially America. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Mar 2024 11.41am)

You've run a bit deeper than I have in your analysis of it however I would say the propaganda and attraction strategy of it is rooted in targeting those I described. I find it far more satisfying in my position as hoi polloi to run with lines such as: 'take control of your own lives people as opposed to being riled up by these types, offering you excuses and ideals to cling to, using you with false promises of a neverland utopia for their own gain'.
