Todays first download isn't a bootleg - but it is a live album. This is Split Enz - The Living Enz. This band were the start of Crowded House and feature the Finn brothers - Tim and Neil. This album was mainly recorded in Melbourne, Australia during the bands 1984 "Enz With A Bang" farewell tour - it also has some material recorded at the Auckland, New Zealand shows of the tour as well as recordings from the band's 1982 "Time And Tide" tour. Todays second download is a bootleg by Dream Theater that was the bands Fan Club cd 2002. This is a cd sent out to fan club members only and not for general release. This is a great sounding boot that was recorded at 3 different venues during 1992-1993 - 2 in Japan and 1 in the USA. I've posted a few boots and album by Dream Theater in the past - they rock big time - a top band. This is a great show - thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by the Kaiser Chiefs that was recorded in Belfast, Ireland on the 4th April 2005. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted lots of boots and albums by this band in the past - this is another top show for the collection. If you like the Kaiser Chiefs - this is a must have, thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by the Pet Shop Boys that was recorded at the BBC Media Centre, Salford, Lancs on the 5th of this month. The show was broadcast on BBC FM Radio the following day 6.12.12. - last Friday. The quality of this boot is superb - it's BBC - 'nuff said. The band are supported by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra led by Yuri Torchinsky, conducted by Dominic Wheeler with the Manchester Chamber Choir. A wicked show with a great setlist... this is thoroughly recommended..... An extra download today and another set by Dream Theater that I grabbed at the same time as the one I posted yesterday. This is a set recorded at the Graspop Festival, Dessel, Belgium on the 6th July 2002, and is in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard. This band rock big time and this is a wicked set. Dream Theater are well known for their covers of songs - sometimes complete albums... and they finish this set with a cover of Metallica's "Master Of Puppets". If you liked the one from yesterday - then you will like this one as well... this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few albums and bootlegs by PT over the years - this is another top sounding show. If you like Porcupine Tree - this is another great show for the collection... thoroughly recommended....
