Stop extending the deadline and leave it until the seasons over. That at least is a natural cut off point. Far too risky to do that. The administrators only have enough money to survive till the end of the season. In other words if you left the deadline till then there is a very real chance the club could go under while the bids are starting to come in. The administrator has tried to be a subtle as he could on the point but we need a bidder to step forward now, not at the end of the season.

Totally agree , the end of season makes sense for everyone, these people won't be rushed into anything and nor would I when parting with 30m when if we go down it could be 15/20m. This man ruined LEEDS and LUTON he worries me more than the prospect of relegation. He has had to make a public apology about NW leaving what other lies has he been feeding us. Rubbish, I think you'll find Leeds and Luton ruined Leeds and Luton

Let it go - he is not interested - if TC Eagle is making up emails from BG then I am sure the site administrators will hear from BG as he keeps an eye on the message boards via his staff. It was a fun diversion but that is it. TC has had email exchanges with BG before and therefore I imagine that is why he got a reply.
Damn it!! |

It wasn't all bulls*** then. "There seems to be a desire by him to help. David Groves, one of our associate directors, is in the music and film industry and we’ve got some feedback.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

Nobody wants to buy the club on the current terms so we need to accept that. To keep setting stupid deadlines delivers nothing. Its just embarrasing, do we really think that anybody will be rushed into a bid just because of a "deadline". Do we really think that if somebody made a higher offer after the "deadline" that it would be refused ?

There seems to be a lot of parties that would like to buy the club but using somebody elses money....put me down please Brendan !

The whole deadline thing is pointless. He should be courting prospective buyers and going through the process however long that takes, not setting irrelevant deadlines. If you were a prospective purchaser you would be taking as long as you needed and not speeding up or slowing down because Brenda set a deadline.

So you really think that while you are going through the process of working out whether to potentially investing millions of your heard earned cash, just because the administrator says put £10m in a bank account, you would do it. Personally I would wait until I was ready and then put some money forward. What's Brenda going to do - stop talking to me? There is a cost associated with tying up £10m, it doesn't come free. If you are a viable bidder he is not going to stop talking to you. Who are the parties who have to agree the cva going to side with - the preferred bidder or the one who offers the best deal? What happened at the first deadline? Zippo. If there were any serious bidders out there then they ignored it. What did it achieve? Raising the hopes of the deparate supporters.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - get it out with Optrex. |

Raising the hopes of the deparate supporters. if it achieved working out that said potential buyer was a time waster then that is a good thing because BG can then move onto finding a serious buyer with the readies. Yes it raises our hopes but I'd rather they be dashed within the 2-week deadline rather than stringing us along for the rest of the season, only to find out then they don't have the money. Because if we get to the end of the season and we don't have a buyer we are royally in the s***e as income stops coming in and we still have to pay player wages, so we'll have to sell em all because we won't be able to pay em. The quicker we get through the time wasters the quicker we find our real buyer

Deadline is there because in 4-5 weeks (end of season) if no one is , to quote ian dowie, 'over the line', then our revenue stops (no more games), an then we will have a discounted firesell of every single worthhile asset, leaving zero value in anyone buying the club as there will be nothing to buy! It is gettin serious and I just hope Brenda has made a strong enough point to the apparen 3 seriously interested parties! At the end of the day he is asking for 10m as proof nit the total figure upfront so anyone who is serious should be able to organise this. We find out tomorrow!
