So plenty of reports about Steve Cooper. His current remit may be Championship, but if your thinking is that he's unsuitable purely because of his contacts, think again. For one, Cooper managed England U17 to the World Cup win. In that, he worked with Foden, Sancho, Hudson-Odoi, Gallacher, Smith Rowe, Guehi, Gibbs-White... At Liverpool as a youth coach, he worked with Sterling & Trent. We've already been heavily linked with Gallacher & Guehi and I'd very happily take both - we're probably more likely to get Guehi, a Chelsea player at Swansea, on a Cooper connection than a Lampard one.

He constantly denies that Willo and Trolley are the same person but he isn't bright enough to cover his tracks properly. This is what Trolley posted on the BBS in January 2005 "I recall being seated in the 'Directors Box' next to the late, great 'Bill Nicholson' during an FA Cup home game against 'Huddersfield' many moons ago and the legendary 'Manager' was singing the praises of our combative midfielder who of course eventually found his way to 'White Hart Lane'." And this is what Willo posted here eleven years later "I recall sitting right next to the late, great Bill Nicholson at Selhurst. I think the game was home to Huddersfield in the FA Cup.Nicholson was fulsome of praise for Andy Gray and Tottenham later signed him." You will also notice that both personas use inverted commas incorrectly in a manner that no-one else on this forum does

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Planet Willo/Trolley is indeed a strange place! But the old boy is quite "Harmless"...

With the greatest of respect I have answered all this association with Trolley umpteen times so I don't feel the need to keep repudiating the allegations. As I understand it the poster who debates under Trolley is a legend on the BBS and I have never sought nor will I ever attain such status on HOL or any other such site. Apropos 'Yellows' I was delightfully awarded one for being an 'Attention seeker' amongst other heinous crimes and those who really know me,rather than those who make wild assumptions behind a keyboard, will vouch for the fact that this is absolute hogwash and risible in the extreme. Admittedly there were a plethora of contretemps resulting in those dastardly Willo threads but they were all as a result of my comments about referees and refereeing decisions and my views were honest and certainly NOT articulated to raise any hackles.I stand by what I posted on that subject. This "Attention seeker" so enjoyed being in the limelight that I made the conscious decision to stay well clear of threads apropos refereeing and repeatedly used the words "Let's not turn this into a Willo thread" !!! There are those on here who don't like the cut of my jib and seek every opportunity to engage in character assassination.Through all the brickbats I like to believe I have acted with respect and dignity and argued my corner without rancour or malice. Finally in response to "Silver Fox AS HE LIKES TO PORTRAY HIMSELF" with the obvious insinuation - I reach the ripe age of 70 next year. Edited by Willo (23 May 2021 4.16pm)
