From the left mostly. I normally sit in the Arthur when I get a chance to go, so not really sure of the names of seating sections are. One guy lent over the barrier between the 2 sections and was very Still if I had Suzanna Reid and Fiona Bruce as guests I would probably be ignoring us great unwashed too. SP sits in prime seats with 2 huge screens in front of him... he can clearly see the s***e in front of him and does F@ck all. Everybody knows we’ve needed a striker for ages. I do blame the system. Benteke when on his game is right up there but palace have broken him. Why let Gayle go. We have a decent back line but we will go down if we don’t start getting at the teams around us and taking our chances. If we can beat city then we should be doing it against the weeds and Cardiff. It’s crazy.

I happen to believe that this will be the reaction of supporters if Hodgson plays key players and Zaha, for instance, gets injured and is out for a while. What, what, do not play certain players in case they get injured? Complete nonsense, We need to start putting some results together back to back or your philosophy on this would be a fast track to the Championship.

Hodgson might look at the 'Bigger picture' and decide that with a home game against a League Two team he could afford to rest key players to prevent them getting injured when we need them really badly in the PL games.I suspect that supporters will understand this if he decides to follow this path.

Cardiff and Fulham both back to their defensive frailties today, Cardiff 3 down after 30 minutes. So you can see RH is focussed on solid defence and trying for a goal on the break. This is because the Eagles have little fire-power, the strike force is lacking. But to push forward and expose the defence is not the right way IMO. Zaha in particular, is not reliable and will usually blaze over when given a good opportunity, or show it to a defender. If only we had someone like Billy Sharp at Sheffield United, still banging them in long after people are awarding him his pension !!!!!!

Or we could play wilf(and others) he scores three, we get a good win and it lifts him and the whole club.

To be fair Cardiff and Fulham have just been promoted to the league and trying to find their feet. Also Chelsea are not as free scoring as the Spuds and could therefore understand the reticence to have a go against them presently but not Chelsea. You can change personnel if it all starts to go awry. It did feel that the white flag had already been raised even before a kick. Let's hope for a more forward thinking display tomorrow.

I wish this forum had a "like" tab. Top post, absolutely spot on. Hodgson is negative in all aspects. I note, as in his time with England, he spends a lot of time looking at the patch of grass by his shoes and looking over to RL for advice. Well past the sell by date I'm afraid. Agreed.

It’s clear from his press conference that Hodgson has learned nothing from the big wins earlier in the month and still underestimates the quality that his team possesses – he must wake up and smell the coffee otherwise it could be a long second half of the season for the Eagles if they continue to show so much respect to teams and approach games with such negativity. Says it all really
