This is essentially true.

What is happening in the world is far more important than whether we like someone's personality. As predicted and denied at the time the Democrats have been an utter disaster in both foreign policy and domestic spheres.

Criticism of Trump and his administration...as for any administration or power structure is valid within free societies. However, the 'anyone will do' mantra and indeed, any 'tactic will do' adopted by Democrats and their supporters has landed them and indeed the world in terrible waters. It was bad before but now it's reaching dangerous levels in multiple lanes which soon won't be able to be kicked down the road.

Personally, I don't want Trump back. He lies and he turns on a dime and on his previous supporters. He's an overpowered narcissist....well, they all are....but he's pretty obvious.

However, if it has to be a choice between Trump and Biden again.....a horrible choice that is a mockery of supposed meritocracy.....then Trump is the only way that some of today's madness decelerates.

You prove what I have long believed. That the title of this thread is inappropriate. There is no bias against Trump. There are only levels of disdain.

What you write is your dislike for Biden and the Democrats in general, rather than any defence of Trump. Your bias against them is extremely obvious and well rehearsed in these pages and not shared by people like me. You are as entitled to your view as I am to mine, but no more so. It's not a fact. It's an opinion that may be valued against others. My own opinion is that such a valuation won't be needed as I don't believe either will be on the ticket. Time will tell.

I would suggest that anyone reading your post here who isn't aware of what this thread was about and how it went and indeed who said what and who was right about what they said it's all available to them....indeed some of the nutty stuff said in this thread was quite incredible.

But hey, I'll gladly say to any objective reader....if you read through this thread and end it thinking Wisbech's takes and those like him are still what you believe, then good luck to you my man.

I am content with that! The few objective readers here have already done so, and commented. Most of that which I predicted is slowly coming to pass. As I have always said, be patient.

Well, hopefully we will both still be around in 2030 or whenever Trump and Biden are history to say to the other, 'I told you so'.

I certainly hope so too, even though I would be 86 in 2030 it still beats the hell out of the alternative.

Yep, there's no fun in pushing up daisies. Life is hard enough as it is so good health to you and all Hol's readers.

That Trump presents well and can hold effective rallies is unquestionable. It’s what he says and does which are questionable. Hitler presented well and held effective rallies. He was adored and followed by unquestioning millions too.

I am not suggesting Trump holds the same opinions as Hitler, only that the style has echoes.

Biden doesn’t present well or hold rallies. He is though a careful, wise and experienced politician who leads in a collegiate way. He listens to advice before speaking or acting. He is dull, and often boring, but he is steady.

Give me the boring but wise over a flashy self opinionated bully any day.

Hitler sent his army & flags to the East. Trump didn't.

Biden did.
