As a postscript to my brilliant post (satire). The police have the right to question your right to be in your property under the covid regulations. And I have heard it myself next door, was very dubious and the officer didn't hang around. But there it is, a chink in our armour and they take advantage.

Whether its right or wrong, its good to see the German people able to march and protest against the covid restrictions. This is not allowed in the 'land of hope and glory'. Much of the restrictions have been an exercise in population control and completely useless in tackling covid. But as an indication of how subservient the population can be, and how government can use the police as an arm of the state, it is worrying to say the least. I think a bit of both. A fudge of Science and politics. A bit like trying to mix water and oil,..and it's messy and it doesn't work.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

That and nobody apart from Sweden, due to their constitution no doubt, willing to step out of the crowd because getting it right or wrong is safe when everyone has done the same or similar. It’s a shame the protest will have conspiracy theorist there or it would have more effect. With them there it gives the MSM and public a reason to claim they’re wrong or mental. In Ireland the police require no warrant to enter a property if there is a suspected gathering in the house. That is madness. I have renamed an Garda Siochana, the Party Police: they should wear hot pants and have a balloon on their van.

Have the press written it off as a protest full of conspiracy theorists and Covid deniers because Piers Corbyn and David Icke Apple there? Most would say they think Covid is real but the government restrictions and lack of independent thought are unacceptable but that won’t be the narrative to feed the uninformed.

Watch this man on a train minding his own business get assaulted by police for not wearing a mask. There’s 2 split videos on Twitter. This Facebook one is the full video.

What should have happened is, "excuse me sir is there a reason why you are not wearing a mask on public transport today? If you don't have a valid reason we will have to ask you to leave the train at the next stop" Now that wouldn't have been difficult to say would it?

Sounds acceptable but I think there’s a problem aside from them being at a station already. You don’t have to prove you have a reason under the disabilities act. If you go through the proper channels as a citizen all this falls down in court anyway. Which is why most police leave it alone and maybe do what they should be doing. Finding real criminals, not civil law breakers, or not if they’re exempt. That copper is in s*** you’d hope.

No the man is a yob he failed to co-operate with the police and refused to leave the train. The he resisted arrest. If he had explained that he couldn't wear a mask before he got all "you can't touch me" I think it would have been a different outcome.

But it is getting close.
