Todays second download is a set by Gong that was recorded in Paris in October this year. This is an audience recorded bootleg - but it's a good one so I'm posting it. I don't normally post audience recorded shows as they are usually crap sounding - distant with too much audience noise. This one sounds really good - you do get some audience noise but it makes it sound like you are there - it doesn't go over the music. I saw this band a few times in the 70's including a top show at the Greyhound in Croydon. This is great stuff.... thoroughly recommended... Here is a dowload link I found for :- "New Morning", Live in Paris, France 15.10.12 - Gong (Bootleg) Quality : Excellent Tracklisting : 01 Intro tape Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 124MB (Including Artwork) The Line-up : Enjoy! Todays first down is a set by Red Hot Chili Peppers that was recorded at this years Austin City Limits Music Festival held in Austin, Texas on the 14th October 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by this band - including their recent show and the Bonnaroo Festival earlier this year. This is a great set and the band is really on form for this one - good track selection ending with their hit "Give It Away Now" - if you like RHCP, you will like this one... thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by The Skids that was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in October 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. According to my files this is the first boot by this band that I've posted - I'm not sure about that, I seem to remember a previous one - I've probably not filed it yet... This is a good set and the band play a wicked version of their biggest single hit "Into The Valley". This is great stuff - thoroughly recommended. Live at Hammersmith Odeon, 21.10.80 - The Skids (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Animation Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 46.7MB (Including Artwork, Tracklisting and Playlist File) Enjoy! Todays first download is a set by former Led Zep front man Robert Plant that was recorded at the Perugia Blues Festival, Italy in 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of boots by RP over the years - not many have any LZ tracks on them - this one does and finishes with the classic LZ track "Whole Lotta Love". This is a great performance by RP and this is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Promise Land" Live at the Perugia Blues Festival, Perugia, Italy July 1983 - Robert Plant (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 148MB Enjoy! Todays second download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Vain and they come from San Francisco and were formed in 1986 by lead singer Davy Vain. They originally split in 1991 but reformed in 1993 and are still going today. They have released 6 albums over the years and have a few changes in line up. They started as a glam rock band but with a heavy metal sound.. they can play as well... If you don't know this band - give them a try!... Here is a download link I found for :- Live Z Rock Radio, Dallas Texas 1989 - Vain (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Secrets Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 33.4MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Todays first download is a set by Jack White that was recorded at the Spendour In The Grass Festival in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia on the 27th July this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on JJJ (Triple J) Radio. There is some slight hiss on the original tape - but it's not noticable when the music is playing. This has a DJ intro with a brief interview with JW - you can delete this if not wanted. It appears that Jack plays with two backing bands - the first 5 songs are with "Los Buzzardos" and the rest of the show is list as being with "The Peacocks" - and he plays probably his most famous song - Seven Nation Army - recorded with his days with The White Stripes. This is a good one - thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Splendour in the Grass Festival" Belongil Fields, Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia 27.7.12 - Jack White (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. DJ Intro and brief chat with Jack White With Los Buzzardos With The Peacocks Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 109MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy!

Todays second download is a short set by Budgie that was recorded at the Reading Festival in August 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. Shows by Budgie are very rare - I only have a few myself, so when I saw this one I grabbed it immediately. Only a short set of 5 songs - probably not the whole set but what we get is top notch. If you like Budgie - this is a must have.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Reading Festival 27.8.82 - Budgie (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Forearm Smash Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 38.7MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!
