England much the better team in the first half.
An even second half.
I was a tad disappointed with The Netherlands, I expected much better.
A tough challenge awaits on Sunday.
Congratulations to Gareth Southgate, his support team and of course the players.

It’s taken us 31 years to pay Koeman back, I hope Graham Taylor’s up there with a massive smile on his face

It would be ironic if he was reborn as a turnip.

Great result. The better team won on the night.
Netherlands allowed us space, and we managed to actually create some shots. Foden relished this space more than any.

Still large periods of nothingness, especially when we were drawing, however. Too often got into a promising position to stretch their defense, only to turn round and go backwards. frustrating.

Southgate actually made changes at a semi-reasonable time, and not just the same old faces. Watkins looked like he Was struggling at first, but wow, what a goal, and capped a good night overall.

One thing is certain we have improved in each game and this was our best performance yet.

Onto Spain, who are a better version of Netherlands. Yamal and Williams vs Trip and Walker scares me a little.
But they are beatable, and I think we'll see another improvement - we won't be allowed the possession to play the boring stuff. Should be a good game.

Another amazing achievement from Southgate and the squad - consecutive Euro finals and a WC semi-final in our last 4 tournaments - completely unimaginable 10 years ago.

Fantastic performance and a well deserved win.

Bring on Spain!

Congratulations on your correct use of "better" as opposed to "best", which is what every pundit and a fair few million other people would say.
