At the moment, the following probably seems unlikely to many however I can see Graham Potter being in the frame come the end of the season given how wretched Chelsea's run of form has been domestically (unless they pull off the miracle of Euro cup win). Can't see Potter staying on as Manager into 2023/24 season and yet a club like Palace should seem like a perfect fit for rebuild; opportunity and ambition of the kind that he was able to steer for Brighton that he achieved so effectively.

Maybe we send Forest down in our last game of the season, and then nick their manager?

There is the possibility of course that he will not be at the helm for that game !

I'm not sure he's quite the right fit for us - not that it's ever stopped us before. I just think his tactical tinkering muddies the water for a small squad like ours.

Allegedly a source that, for the sake of confidentiality, cannot be named, has alleged Parish and Rodgers were seen swapping telephone numbers after yesterday's match.
The neighbour of the dog walker whose kids go to school in the same borough and shares a similar surname to Parish's hairdresser's auntie said that it has nothing to do with him.

I am convinced that the only answer is Roy.

By next season Roy will be 76. Living in the past is not the way forward for the club.

What I want to say is that it doesn't surprise me as Rodgers is such a yes man.
However, I feel I'm being a little harsh.

Parish is rumoured to be crowdfunding a new subsidiary CPFC cloning ltd

He needs to fund it by the end of May in order to grow a new Roy for next season with the plan to replicate him and other key personnel over the coming years at little cost.

This removes the burden of transfer fees and allows us to re build the whole ground and pay the Americans vast amounts of loan interest this sustaining and preserving quite literally the vital DNA of the club

It would be beyond incredible if the club appointed Roy permanently at his age, but I wouldn't rule out the idea of him staying on to help out if the club can't get thier first choice target (whoever that turns out to be) come the summer.

Though I feel he did a decent job overall, Vieira did appear to be third or forth choice (at least), and I wonder if his appointment was partly due to a lack of options and time that summer. It would be far from ideal but I wouldn't object to Roy continuing as interim manager come preseason, if the only available and willing permanent candidates are not ones the club fully believe in.

I for one does not envisage a scenario whereby Mr Hodgson is on the managerial throne next season.

Clearly you missed the fact that Palace played yesterday and were a revelation,Roy could ,in time, bring Paddy along as an eventual replacement.Age is a number, the worlds leading country is run by a chap called Joe Biden who is 81 in November. Don't be so ageist!

I did not envisage a European war last year, if only life ran to a script.
