James Milner actually commented that the fans were making it difficult for them last night and the atmosphere was quiet intense. I find it hard to always see the bigger picture of atmosphere as in the back Block B it always seems pretty loud. That goes for Championship years too.

In the heart of Block B the atmosphere was excellent, but I guess it always has been... What I can't understand is this. A few of the HF pushed their way into our row, ok fine, we are used to that as we have a decent view and in the heart to the main noise. But these guys didn't sing at all... maybe a couple of Eagles here and there but they didn't pitch in to make any noise. Were they on singing strike as well?? Its all turning out as cutting your nose off to spite your face. Were they HF or just young men in black t shirts?

Like I said in block A was decent . Only heard Liverpool in the last 10 minutes and then a couple of songs drowned them out.

Why not offer the fans who sit behind the goal a 100 pounds discount to move 1 block left or right to accommodate the HF? For the club it is peanuts , for the moving fan a oner can cover travel cost and or beer. The atmosphere was woeful by our standards and it will hurt us. I remember many years ago how woeful the atmosphere was at Palace it can return a lot quicker than it was built.

So they’re not supporting how they said in different parts of the ground then, and only support if it’s under their terms and with their whole group. FFS. Really? Or just to show Parish. ‘Look, this is what you (all of us actually) will lose, so will you now give us block E (which can’t be resolved for various reasons but we’re too stubborn and immature to admit it and are approaching 30 and want to focus/spend on other areas of our lives so it was either do it now because we can’t wait 2-3 years or not at all)’ They probably won’t even be members in 1-2 years I’d have thought. Surely if people messaged SP (politely and respectfully) via his twitter account something could be done?! For goodness sake it is making headlines in the mainstream media. I am well aware he is resolute in his approach as a man who can say ‘No” but this is harming all of us and our club. The players are not daft either.

I remember many years ago how woeful the atmosphere was at Palace it can return a lot quicker than it was built. Because if it’s at the back there aren’t any empty seats and if it’s the front everyone will have to stand, which is the HF’s aim, and many either can’t or don’t want to. The HF want it to become standers singing all game and no old age fans who don’t, but it isn’t feasible until the new stand is finished. It’s really that simple and really embarrassing that this isn’t understood or communicated or agreed. As I’ve said, some Hf are probably hoping to hand the baton over after moving to the middle and can’t wait or attend for 3 seasons plus more of getting the middle rocking until that happens. Fair enough but having a strop over something that isn’t feasible doesn’t fool everyone.
