I didn't accuse anyone, let alone everyone so it's for you to decide if the cap fits or not. The problem I see is people in denial. People who obviously quite genuinely believe they don't harbour any kind of racial bias when it's been proven that we all do. That's the point!

If you think that's me being "intellectually superior" then I suppose I ought to be flattered, but somehow I don't think it was meant as a compliment.

If we all do,all of us of all colours then what's the point in protesting. Must be for another reason and racism is an excuse just to cause trouble for certain people. I guessed that in an earlier post.

Well said, I guess we are all racist. We all want to be better than the next man but if you are white and the guy you want to be better than is white, it’s ok, but if the guy is black then it’s considered racist. There is something very wrong in all this. I’m going to stick to my way of taking people as I find them and if that isn’t enough for them then so what.

This along with 27 officers injured in 2 days makes my blood boil more than anything else. I want to see the full force of the law used against those who have done this. It is wanton criminality and vandalism and has absolutely nothing to do with protesting. If ever there was something that inflames a situation then they may have just found it. There will be very little sympathy from the masses towards this and if there is (evidently in the media perhaps by the lack of coverage by the BBC) then our country is going to shiite.

If you want to gain understanding and support from the majority, have a good think about a) what you are trying to achieve and b) how you go about it.
