This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft I'd be over the moon with Dyche although I'm not sure he'd even be interested in jumping ship.

I like the "ginger one",and if we really want him we can get him. Does he prefer Watford or did we only showed interest. I heard we didn't make silva a contract offer.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft I'd be delighted if Dyche came to us although keeping with the theme of this thread Eddie Howe would be the best man for the job but that's not very likely. I'm pretty underwhelmed with the rest of the candidates, especially Garry Monk. Edited by pompeyeagle (26 May 2017 10.27pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Apparently his only got a million pound buy out clause in his contract but would he come to palace a club in London established in the premier league and a good transfer budget or stay at Burnley with a shxt transfer budget were he seems happy

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Silva was my number 1 choice but why?! I'll tell you when I look deep into it, it's because in recent years is English fans have seen the success of foreign coaches and misunderstood this as a reflection on home grown coaches. The fact is, the likes of Eddie Howe and Dyche have a record which many coaches would struggle to replicate. Dyche, in particular has done great things. To take a club like Burnley up twice, before keeping them up is amazing. Now, someone on here suggested moving to palace would be a sideways step. That, quite frankly is playing us down. Yes, we wouldn't be a 'huge' step up but we'd be a step up all the same. Dyche is at the stage now where he needs to establish if he can take Burnley further. My gut feeling is that he can't, with palace however it's all there to go forward at quite a pace. Zaha, Benteke, Cabaye, Townsend alone would get the mouth watering. With rumours of money to spend we're an attractive proposition for a Dyche type. If he was Portuguese we'd be buzzing at this link. I'll do my best to forget he's ex-Millwall though!

There's only an slight issue. We've got two valid options one is avaiable the other one we need to pay compensation (and it seems Burnley want to make some profit) What kind of logic is this?!..
