You knew Jules would make a snap reflex save. With Hennessy you know it's a goal against. That just isn't right. We're a premiership club with aspirations of staying there. We need better in goal than what we've currently got.

I'll take the abuse , but I am sick and tired of reading the same old crap about the keepers and change the direction. Enjoy.

WH has come on a long way in the last 10 games - new GK Coach - he is personally fitter - much better with crosses from corners now & high balls coming into the front of the box - having Mama & Luca in front of him has certainly helped everyone - for me he has a lot more to offer now than he did earlier in the season & its my belief that if we continue to grow in stature as a football club then Wayne will grow with us.

Will really show when we get a good keeper in goal. All the people who overly protect Wayne will realise just what we have been missing out in the last season and a half. You have admitted that you dislike Hennessey, which does tend to cloud judgement. The hard facts are there isn't a better keeper at the club and Hennessey is ranked on performance 11th in the Premier League stats. To blame him for every goal we concede is laughable. I agree he could of done better in some of the goals we concede, but that could be said of every keeper bar none.

Just watched Swansea goal yesterday. World class keeper De Gea rooted to the spot, no keeper should be beaten from there that easily Apparently WH is an average keeper in an average team. It would be good to get a better keeper, we arguably need two more but there are other areas that need prioritising

If you base it just on that Courtious will be one of the worst in the league as he has less to do. The main issue I have with Hennessey is that nothing is done with conviction, leadership or any fight. He just looks like a giraffe caught in headlights most of the time. At 6ft 5 he should be a presence, he isn't!

The joke is that when we were winning games, this thread went very quiet. Now we've lost a couple and the same old posters are coming on here with their anti-Hennessey agenda blaming him for every goal we let in. Just accept that he will be in goal for the remainder of the season and try and get behind him. Then we'll see in the summer what happens.

I was, not by name, called Hennessy's Dad the other day but I have never actually praised him and the antis won't find a post of mine that does. What I have done, and will continue to do, is defend him when he is blamed for goals that patently are not his fault. Some clown blamed him for Burnley's first goal which Barnes smashed past him from three yards or Coutinho's free kick which he was at least diving for and only narrowly missed. Compare that to De Gea yesterday or Mandada at Everton.
