I live 200 miles from the border but have seen the results of unrelenting border crossings in numerous towns and cities! The official numbers over the past few years are 10,000,000 in and -100,000 bused/flown out of state, which in my basic maths level calculation is 1%. I find it laughable if you believe Texas lawmakers encourage these crossings!! New bill DOA but I’m sure we will be debating that over the coming weeks I’m sure! This is what you get with engaging with a narcissistic idiot. The most risible comment is the " when I have seen Border Force in action ", truly pathetic. Good luck there in Houston
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

And yet the Republicans can't find a better candidate. They have many but know it’s pointless so aren’t trying. They are no longer the real Republicans. They are now the Trumpians.

4 years of peace (multiple nobel peace prize nominations) These are just snippets of the "4 years of chaos" trump brought. Almost everything that was positive in the Trump era came directly from Obama. Policy decisions take years for their impact to be felt and measured. Trump’s chaos was clearly visible in his inept and selfish handling of the pandemic, his constant lies and isolationist policies. Cosying up to dictators, ignoring the basic requirements of democracy and seeking to undermine NATO hardly made the world better. Trump was, and remains, as big a threat to the world as anyone else. Including Putin.

Good luck there in Houston How many times have you entered the USA? I have enough experience of the CPB, the Customs and Border Protection, to pass comment. They have always been more than thorough whenever I have encountered them, checking documents, baggage and everything else. I have never seen gates left wide open for anyone to just walk through carrying as many drugs as they can hold. They also seem unwelcoming and humourless in contrast to our own Border Force officers.

There was no conflict under Trump and some dialogue with our enemies. Why was that? I suspect because Putin was reaching an understanding with Trump about where they would draw the lines and how NATO would look and be capable of responding after Trump had decimated US support. He had no need to invade during Trump’s term and would have faced very little resistance in a second if he had achieved it, or successfully stolen it. Trump has no interest in Europe or understanding of its value to the USA. He is an isolationist. The leader of the Western World and its values cannot be.

OK, I know it's a rhetorical question etc
