Why would someone not interested in personal battles direct a post towards myself or Hoof, as you did earlier?

The lady doth protest.

As I said in that post, because you and Hrolf (not Hoof) have expressed your exasperation at corruption and that it was a primary reason for you to vote leave. So I'd guessed you'd given this issue some thought. Others haven't really mentioned that as much.

Total crap. You could have asked the question to Michael, the Chiselhurst Troll or any of the right on's, who have repeatedly stated that business is corrupt but you instead chose two right of centre posters.

That is personal and you know it.

Matthew, you can't be 'right of centre' AND be a foaming UKIP supporter. They are mutually exclusive. Make your mind up.

Personal how? I have nothing to gain from 'making you look a c*nt', as you put it.

I'm interested only in constructive responses. There's another example of secret court systems - as used in things like TTIP, which I was under the impression Hrolf opposed, though I am not sure about your views.

If you've nothing to add, fair enough, but even if you are only interested in individual fight doesn't mean that's true of everyone else.

I have explained why it is personal and don't feel that I need to explain again.

If you don't intend to make your posts personal, think about how you phrase them and maybe don't only ask questions of two posters whom you oppose their views.

Sadly in practice it is hard to completely ignore him as he is in your face much like a mother's breast... nice to know that you think of him as a t1t too legal!

Ah but you see Matt, I don't regard people as only for or against. I would agree with both you and Hrolf that corruption is a problem, for example.

I can see why you think it might've been personal, given how used to jousting with Kermit and Ncik you have become. I'm not interested in any of that though.

I'm not sure about that.

In today's politics, a party becomes what it thinks its target voters want. I'm sure a lot of people traditionally on the left and center right voted for UKIP last time. Ain't no way that the numbers they polled at the last election are all foaming far rights.
I see UKIP continuing to campaign for a reduction in immigration and trying to appeal to Tory and Labour voters.

Good point.

UKIP is a party that knows it can hoover up votes, from the more hardline Tories and traditional working class Labour voters by harping on about immigration. It doesn't have to publicise it's other policies, because it is to the detriment of the party to do so. A lot of the ex Labour voters would be driven away by it's low taxation (and intrinsically anti NHS) policies.

By concentrating on the 'big winners' for the traditional working class (overturn smoking ban, for example, plus anti immigration) UKIP get the votes and can gloss over everything else.
