Agree with Tony Blair. Governemtnes measures are too stringent and testing isn't being pushed enough. Jersey tests requires all visitors to test either 72hours before arrival, or on arrival. You have to email 48 hours before arrival to confirm where you are staying and to give your contact details. They have 9 activite cases, all asymptimatic visitors, currenly locked into the Raddison hotel for two weeks at the governments expense. The entire population's been testest, you need to complete track and trace using QR codes prior to entering any bar. Entering into the UK, you have to do nothing. Our test centres are empty. If a town is put on lockdown, we should be blitzing the entire town with tests and don't let people out until tests come back negative. If anyone is not working from home, they should have to do a test once a month. Anyone booking a hotel, internal flight or similar should have to do a test prior to arrival. Anyone entering the UK can get tested on a flight or the boat over here. It takes 5 minites to do. We've got the capacity for testing, we just need to force people to go. Not sure rubber dinghies have testing kits

Not many want to be traced in England. Work and contracts Lefties who love big state control or are worried they’re going to be the one in a few thousand need to distract themselves from test and trace and vaccines.

I’ve had news of someone I know through family who I used to socialise with as kids. He’s in a really bad way. Blood cancer, bone cancer and will need a heart transplant to live a normal life. He wasn’t being seen or having things done during Covid. Awful. Flatten the f***ing curve. w***ers.

He has worsened when he could’ve been seeing specialists and having treatment. Poor bloke might end up dying or living a life not worth living and a working health service could’ve saved him.

The Government is just not being straightforward with us or doesn't have a clue The man who heads up the Adult Social Care Task force for the National Care Forum explained to us today that unfortunately the government has announced the 90 minute combined test (Flu & Covid) prior to some of the science and methodologies being fully evaluated. This is - at this time - quite a number of weeks/months away from being approved. Remember this? Just to let you know that, surprise surprise, there is absolutely no sign of the 450,000 tests we were promised by the Government. We are told the antibody tests are 'still in planning'. Exactly as I said above, which caused multiple people to deride me. To put it mildly the Govt is 'spinning' the facts Edited by Mapletree (20 Aug 2020 1.10pm)

Whatever The point is we were told 3 weeks ago that 450,000 tests were being rolled out within the week. I said that isn't happening and was abused for saying so But.... it STILL isn't happening and won't for a while yet. Ergo, we were lied to.

I'll just head off and lie down for half an hour to recover. It's not as though Politicians lie or that this whole episode is based upon lies, half truths and purest arse covering.
