In the very unlikely event of that happening the BBC would undoubtedly follow the guidelines they announced after the last disagreement.

That event had nothing directly to do with the BBC’s impartiality but rather where the line must be drawn by a sports presenter employee/contractor’s obligations to the BBC and their right to express personal opinions outside the area of their contractural duties in their free time.

The BBCs highest paid presenter is exempt from their guidelines. Makes sense.

That some people approach this issue from your perspective is well understood. Research is done on it in an attempt to understand it so the truth can be better explained to them. You want to dismiss such explanations out of hand with an “everyone knows” excuse. They don’t! You just want to believe in your own myopic prejudices. This might help you to understand your own attitudes. I wouldn’t though risk too much money on that being the case. Oh yes they do... Roll up roll up for Wisbech's endless denial of reality pantomime. The dullest show on Earth.

Believing something to be true simply because you want it to be is to show a total lack of self awareness. To eradicate that it’s necessary to review proper research, which I provide but you just dismiss.

I have no specific knowledge these days about the BBC but assume they are no different from other news outlets such as CNN, Fox or Al Jezera etc who basically communicate the news they want to share, in a way they want to share it and aligned to their donors! Days of impartiality are long gone!
