Appears to be what he has committed to. Good to see someone follow through for once, although equally I would have totally understood if he'd jumped ship – it's a business decision after all. My take – unlikely to get regular minutes at Chelsea, has decided to stay as it will be the best for his personal development as a regular starter over the next 12 months and then if sold also has the nice bonus of us getting what he's actually worth with 3 years left on his contract.

It's just absolutely brilliant news. We now have one of the best crossers in the league with us for another year or two and then when he does move on, it will be on our terms for a helluva lot more than £35m. Well done to Olise, even taking our own needs out of the equation, it always seemed mad him going there to compete with Madueke and Sterling. Brilliant day, now we need more signings to support him.

"They think it's all over...it is now!" Fantastic news! Though maybe not for all those on here slagging him off because they thought he was gone. So funny! And those who were giving Parish advise on negotiating contracts don't look so smart now. This feels like the best signing of the summer!

Impassive when he scores, impassive when the team scores, impassive when he assists, impassive when journalists ask him inane questions, impassive when he gives away a penalty. And sitting at the Whitehorse end I've noticed that he's one of very few of our players who doesn't get any crap from the away fans when taking a corner in front of them.

We all know how little people who say there are INK actually know There are only going to be a few people actually ITK, and they wont be blabbing on socials. Nor would their mates, would end up in trouble. But lets pretend it was true, I cant imagine why Olise would sign a new contract with the guy that just blocked his dream move.
