However as he was the one to put the knife in, well along with Howe, he could never attend the position his ability probably merited.

.

Geoffrey Howe was MP for my constituency 'Surrey East'.

You're quoting the Mail and saying the Beeb is biased?

The BBC should of course be impartial.
In many of the television and radio news bulletins it appeared that Margret Thatcher was on trial and the case for the prosecution was gathering force.

To show Thatcher was anything other than a bitchc*** would be biased.

I thought that this was a serious and mature debate.

Nope. It's an existential fight to the death between the forces of good and evil, with the soul of the nation at stake.
At least that's how it feels.

Surely the most apt way - for those of us born in the 60's and early 70's - to send the old gal off would be a mass riot v the police outside St Paul's next Wednesday.

See you there. Bring walking sticks and make sure any toupes are firmly attached. And don't forget yer HRT pills gals.

Actually, scrap that. Do forget the HRT pills. You'll have the. Old Bill waving the white flag literally seconds after one of yous spots one of them annoying you.

Nick - I can't really be bothered to read all of this but do you really live in the 'workers paradise' of Chislehurst?
